Based in Cave Junction, Ore., Evergreen Elementary School is part of the Three River School District. The school enrolls more than 450 students in grades kindergarten through five. The school s curriculum includes reading, spelling, writing, foreign language, math, science and social studies. It is equipped with a computer lab, multipurpose room, cafeteria, gym and media center. Teachers use a wide variety of resources, such as textbooks, trade books, leveled texts and computer software to enhance the school s curriculum. The school offer special activities, such as harvest festival, mathathon, winter program, art and writing contests, monthly student of the month awards, and quarterly awards for academic achievement and attendance.
