Established in 1859, St. Mary s Cathedral School offers various Catholic-based educational programs to students in grades kindergarten through eight. Its academic curriculum includes life, physical and earth sciences, language arts skills, including speaking, reading, writing and listening, the study of governmental systems and economics, religious studies, general math, pre-algebra and algebra. The school additionally provides education in music, physical education, computer studies and Spanish. It also offers various extracurricular activities and sports programs, such as volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball, soccer, football, track and cross-country.
