History

My fundamental approach when crafting compelling visual narratives comes from more than a decade of knowledge gained as a reporter, video journalist and still photographer. I have produced videos and photos for large and small traditional media organizations, international nonprofits and businesses. Along with shooting and editing, I have conducted countless interviews and written a vast variety of scripts. My first goal in any production is to understand the story and the potential audience. Second, to be flexible, nimble and an unassuming team player. Third, creative use of the best tools possible in an efficient manner.

Specialties

My specialty is crafting documentary videos and photos of a journalistic ethos in a cinematic style. My aim is to create an authentic story that informs but also touches the audience on an emotional level. In addition to using the latest HD cameras, prime lenses, audio and lighting, I incorporate other tools to enhance story telling and visuals: * Motion-Timelapse and motorized slider * Aerial/Drone video and photography using the Inspire 1 * Steady-cam * Gopro cameras I work closely with marketing specialists, fellow producers, directors and businesses.
