Breeze & Branch

History

Growing up in the high deserts of Montana and Oregon, Liesl Meissner learned an appreciation for nature, beauty, and hard work early on. After studying art in school she worked in a range of interior design and creative industry and roles, ranging from managing fabric and furniture stores, to sewing for interior designers, to teaching painting classes. After working in one capacity or another for the Tropical Salvage furniture maker for eight years an opportunity arose to run a retail store that prominently features their incredible work. After a few months of getting to know the neighborhood and seeing what potential the shop could have she decided to change the name and in the Spring of 2021 Breeze & Branch was born. Liesl's goal for Breeze & Branch is to share her knowledge of craft, joy, and creativity with others while supporting local artists and makers with a focus on sustainability.
