Boring Bean, formerly Cat's Moon Coffee

History

Before Cat's Moon Coffee existed there was Boring Bark. Boring Bark is a garden and landscape center that had many truck drivers making deliveries. Truck drivers are infamous for the massive amounts of coffee they consume. So...after countless attempts at finding a consistent supply of good coffee, we decided to roast our own. When deciding to roast our own coffee it was never with the intent to sell coffee, we just wanted good coffee to drink. Was that too much to ask for!!?? We purchased a small batch air roaster, sourced out beans from a reputable broker and started roasting. After much trial and error we came up with a GREAT cup of coffee! Our truck drivers were more efficient than ever. Word of our fabulous coffee spread like wildfire! After a few years of roasting and sharing our coffee it became apparent that we could bring a lot of love to many mugs around the Northwest. Cat's Moon Coffee was born.

Specialties

We import coffee beans from all over the world and fresh roast on site every day of the week. We pride ourselves in organic and fair trade coffee. Our roasters are limited to one and two pound batches per roast. Like your coffee crazy dark? Or lightly roasted? No problem, roasters on site will custom roast. We encourage people to come and visit, check out our roasting room and sample coffee. We offer breakfast sandwiches and espresso to start the day as well as sandwiches and soups in the afternoon. Real fruit smoothies, energy fusions and local, loose leaf teas!
