Riverpark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is one of the various health care facilities operated by Touchmark Living Centers. The center provides specialized care to people coping with cardiac and cardiopulmonary conditions, complex diabetes management, joint repair and replacement, neurological, and neuromuscular disorders, and multiple traumas. Its physical therapists include specialists in stroke, hip, knee, back, respiratory, cardiac, and post-trauma therapies. The center has a full-time occupational therapy staff that helps residents learn new ways to handle everyday activities, such as dressing, bathing, and eating. Its treatments include exercise programs, and training in the use of adaptive equipment. The center s speech therapist evaluates and helps patients who have trouble communicating and swallowing, as a result of a stroke, traumatic brain injury, old age or Alzheimer s disease. All of their employees smoke cigarettes in front of my apartment building (full of children and families) and park in our apartment parking. Staff is rude and unhelpful. They also tow vehicles...
