Sheldon Park Assisted Living & Memory Care is a residential facility that offers well-being monitoring, medication management and supervision services for senior citizens. It provides assistance with daily living activities, such as dressing, grooming, bathing and personal hygiene. Sheldon Park Assisted Living & Memory Care offers a life enrichment program that focuses on reminiscence activities through individual-specific memory books and scrapbooks. It provides housekeeping, laundry, transportation and building maintenance services, as well as conducts a range of recreational activities that includes fitness classes, parties, trips and movie outings. The facility offers respite and adult day care services and features one- and two-bedroom private apartments. Sheldon Park Assisted Living & Memory Care is located in Eugene, Ore., and is a part of BPM Senior Living, which operates more than 10 assisted living facilities.

MIUSA has worked with people with and without disabilities from more than 100 countries. Activities include living with homestay families, leadership seminars, disability rights workshops, cross-cultural learning, and teambuilding activities such as river rafting and challenge courses. Participants develop strategies for making changes, both within themselves and in their communities. Focused programs have been developed for youth, young adults, parents, professionals and women.
