History

I began teaching while in college at the University of North Texas and continued during graduate school at the University of Michigan. During my years as a member of the 1st violin section in the Houston Symphony, I maintained an active teaching studio--many of my students went on to study at Houston's prestigious High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and then win scholarships for further study at the college level; some in music, some in other fields. My family relocated to West Linn, OR in 2016, and so did my studio! I am thrilled to be part of a community that is so supportive of the arts!
