History

The people who started 600Amps Internet Services, a Magnitude Technologies, Inc. company, were originally employed by Harborside Internet, a local dialup ISP in the area. While at Harborside, they pioneered the first wireless broadband system in the area. Unfortunately, it was a short lived project since Harborside was bought out, and many of the original Harborside employees lost their jobs. Many years later, the pioneers of this wireless system decided to sharpen their pencils and start from scratch by deploying the latest in technology with the primary goal of reaching rural subscribers who are either un-served or under-served.
