Mike Chapman, Ken Parr, and Gary Gill started a civil engineering and surveying firm, Chapman Parr Gill, in Ponca City in 1986. They provided professional services for municipalities in the region, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, utility districts, and private entities. The services included development of civil construction documents, surveying, construction administration, construction inspection, and master planning. In 2001 the firm opened an office in Tulsa and continued to provide the same services out of both offices. In 2004, Dwain Garner purchased the controlling share of the company and soon afterward changed the name to CGA Engineers, Inc In 2006 CGA Engineers closed the Ponca City office and consolidated operations to the Tulsa office. CGA still enjoys the opportunity to provide services to our clients in the Ponca City area. CGA Engineers is 100% Native American owned. In 2008, the firm secured a Tribal Employment Rights Office ( TERO ) Certificate as a Native American Owned Firm. CGA Engineers has a team of three professional engineers, one licensed land surveyor, four civil technicians, and an administrative assistant. CGA is currently located at 8179 East 41st Street, just east of 41st and Memorial. The location provides easy access to three of the major highways which pass through Tulsa and provide access to northeastern Oklahoma. CGA continues to provide professional services for municipalities, utility districts, Indian Nations, and private development.
