McKinley Elementary School offers a variety of academic and enrichment programs to students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school offers special education, gifted and talented, benchmark testing, cooperative learning and reading counts programs. McKinley Elementary School has a parent-teacher association that participates in information and training programs and encourages the participation of parents and others within the school community. It conducts academic classes in science, social studies, math, reading, creative writing, life skills, computer instruction and physical education. In addition, the school has a library that provides access to resources for students and staff in curriculum areas. Jackson Elementary School features an arts prototype program that includes components of visual arts, theater and dance. It also offers a variety of after-school programs and enrichment activities, including chess, drama, magic, martial arts, pottery, dance, art, photography and knitting.
