Children's Advocacy Centers of Oklahoma (CACO) is a membership-based nonprofit established in 1999, dedicated to supporting child advocacy centers and multidisciplinary teams throughout the state. With a mission to unite and advocate for professionals protecting Oklahoma's children, CACO offers training, technical assistance, and resources to ensure equitable access to best-practice child abuse response services.
In 2024, CACO continued its commitment to child welfare by partnering with Hope Wired for innovative research initiatives aimed at enhancing caregiver satisfaction and outcomes for children served by accredited centers. With 21 accredited centers and numerous developing ones, CACO plays a pivotal role in addressing and preventing child abuse across Oklahoma.
