HistoryBlue Sky Behavioral Health in Muskogee began operations in March 1999. This was the result of the closure of the Children's Medical Center, Muskogee Satellite. Recognizing the need to continue servicing the community, the acting administrator, along with psychiatrist Dennis Trost, M.D., began preliminary talks with the intention of maintaining service to Muskogee County. Within weeks of the closure of the satellite location, Blue Sky Behavioral Health, Inc. was formed and opened to continue service to Muskogee. Today, our therapeutic team is equipped to provide comprehensive out-patient services for individuals and families. Our staff and clinicians have a strong desire and commitment to serve the Medicaid population in Muskogee.
