I chose family medicine for its diversity - I care for people of all ages with various medical needs, forming lasting relationships by seeing them in sickness and health. My focus is on compassionate care, listening without judgment, and encouraging open communication. I aim to involve my patients in understanding their health, explaining procedures, and collaborating on treatment plans. The most rewarding part is witnessing the positive impact on their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

I had a personal motivation to get into medicine. My family and I had some health issues, and the doctors who cared for us were absolutely fantastic. I think that's probably what inspired me the most. I decided to specialize in family medicine because I like the idea of caring for the whole family and the whole person-addressing the psychological and emotional needs of patients as well as their physical needs. I'm most passionate about preventive care and overall wellness. As a physician, I promote health maintenance, including managing and improving chronic conditions. Building honest relationships with patients and families is an important part of this. It's how the physician and the patient work together to reach your wellness goals and improve your quality of life.

I have always been interested in science, and I love to help others make their lives better, so being a doctor was a perfect fit for me. I work hard to be sure my patients understand and feel comfortable with the way we manage their options.
