Touch Down club

The Charlotte Touchdown Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit sports-social organization established in 1990, dedicated to promoting high school, collegiate, and professional football in the Charlotte, North Carolina region. Over the years, the club has significantly expanded, now featuring a sponsor team of over seventy companies and providing financial support to more than eighty regional high school athletic programs.

One of the club's hallmarks is the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, awarded to the best defensive player in college football, which was created to honor the defensive contributions to the sport. The Touchdown Club also hosts various events, including luncheons and awards banquets, fostering community engagement and recognizing excellence in sportsmanship, leadership, and scholarship.
