History

The HAI is a proud member of the Sassoon Academy School Connection Program (SASCP), an elite group of schools trained in delivering the renowned Sassoon methods of cutting, and the first ever SASCP Barbering School. At the HAI, we're the only school in the state where our students earn the exclusive and globally recognized SASCP Diploma. Holding true to our firsts, we are the only school in North America certified by the British Barber's Association in the art of straight razor shaving. Our women's classic cutting portion is partnered with Sally Rogerson's globally recognized S.R. Education and is a certified S.R. Education School. Sally's cutting series specializes in simplifying hair techniques and approaches for easy understanding and use. Billed as a small private school with individualized attention, we address your weak points and expand on your strengths. Our dedicated and passionate instructors eagerly await the opportunity to share the knowledge needed to succeed in hair.
