Owners Richard and Tammie Johnson opened The Coffee Cup opened in January 2007 in Poteau, Oklahoma. The Coffee Cup is a locally owned, family operated coffee house serving specialty coffee, fine teas, fruit smoothies, hot panini sandwiches, fresh soups and salads, bakery items and more. Stopped by Coffee Cup on a drive to Poteau. The cabin-like building was awesome! The cold brew was great. I also got the turkey pesto sandwich which was delicious; the bread was soft and tasty....
