In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we've stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. We do things the Bueno way, and you're sure to taste the difference.

Wholelotta Platter was a Wholelotta garbage! AWFUL food! $13+ for inedible food and a small soda. Rice was so hard I spit it back out. Tortilla on small burrito was stale - couldn't cut it...

Oh no, I went back. Why?? I used to eat at Bueno all the time a few years ago. The quality went downhill so I stopped. Today I thought I'd give them another chance. My mistake. Had a great deal....

We have been customers of Taco Bueno at this location since 1977. The food was good, prices were good. It was our favorite fast-food Mexican place. Over the years they were good & they enlarged...

Not worth your money or safety. Brookside used to be the best location but recently got food poisoning from the chicken potato burrito.
