Saint Joseph Parish Church

For more than 100 years, the Catholic communities of the Church of the Assumption, Nazareth Academy, Saint Joseph College, Sacred Heart Church and Saint Augustine Church have served the residents of Muskogee as witnesses to the good news of Jesus Christ. For the past 15 years, the newly formed Saint Joseph Parish has helped unite the Catholic community of Muskogee County to proclaim and enrich our faith, educate our children and minister to our neighbors.Through our gifts of time, talent and treasure, we continue working to fulfill our mission as a community of faith dedicated to Catholic teachings and to serving the diverse needs of the people. Just as our liturgies have grown and adapted over time so to have the facilities that have housed our faith for generations. When we have been asked, Saint Joseph's parishioners have been very generous and always responded to the call. It is due to this humbling generosity and stewardship that the new church building was erected in 1992 adjacent to Saint Joseph school."Many St. Joseph families have been eagerly anticipating this construction and, Fulfill the Dream, will provide the necessary space for us to grow as a parish community."
