Playtime (+)

Playtime (+) is an hourly drop-in center that welcomes ages 4mos. - 12 yrs. We are an alternative to full time childcare centers for those parents with today's hectic schedules. Our facilities are open 7 days a week with late hours for the convenience of our parents. Playtime (+) is geared for all ages with a playhouse, video games, air hockey, foosball, TV and videos. We also have centers such as blocks, dramatic play, arts & crafts, manipulative and reading as well as physical activities such as a Jungle Gym, Infinity climber and a Jupiter Jump at both locations! There are no enrollment fees, no reservations needed and transportation to and from local schools are available. So if you need before or after school care, have a doctor appointment, want to go shopping, have a date night or just deserve a break, bring your children to Playtime (+) where safety and fun are our 1 priorities. In order for our staff to enjoy their families, Playtime (+) will be closed New Year's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas. We will close early Halloween, Christmas eve and New Year's Eve. We will also be closed any Sunday that precedes a Monday holiday. DON'T FORGET OUR NEW YEAR'S EVE LOCK IN. RESERVATIONS REQUIRED! Playtime (+) cannot tolerate biting, fighting or any aggresive behavior toward any child or teacher. Second time fighters, biters, or other aggressive behavior that endangers someone else will be suspended for 10 days. Further problems could result in permanent suspension. Playtime (+) uses positive reinforcement, redirection, and time-away as means of discipline. The Tulsa two-star facility employs 16 part-time staff as well as our qualified Bronze level Director, Carrie Collins. The Broken Arrow facility employs 18 part-time staff as well as the Director, Robin Woldtvedt who has her National Administrative Credential. All staff employed have a background screening, take a 20 hour childcare course, and a staff is always present that is CPR & First Aid Certified. Staff also does 20 hrs. of continued education each year. Snacks and meals are available at an additional charge. Parents may bring in "Ready to Eat" food for their children or may order from selected local restaurants. Children left in our care for four hours or more must be provided a snack per DHS. If snacks are not provided by parents, Playtime (+) will provide them at parent's expense.
