Owasso City Public Works Department

The Owasso Public Works Department is responsible for the maintenance of public infrastructure systems. It offers a range of maintenance services for streets, cemeteries, and water and sewer systems within the city. The department also undertakes construction projects for new water transmission and distribution systems. In addition, it provides street sign replacement services and maintains daily traffic count data. The Owasso Public Works Department is also responsible for the collection of refuse and yard waste. It additionally provides recycling services for aluminum cans, cardboard boxes, glass bottles, plastic containers, newspapers, lead acid batteries and used motor oil. It also conducts neighborhood traffic calming programs to address traffic problems on residential subdivision streets. The department is located in Owasso, Okla.
