At Alternatives, Inc., our approach is based on the fact that individuals are not made from a cookie cutter, and not everyone will respond to the same treatment. We use various concepts such as behavior modification, cognitive restructuring, and 12 steps methods to augment the basic therapeutic relationships.We maintain a staff of certified and licensed helping professionals. Our staff is qualified and always determined to provide the assistance our clients need. We have many years of experience working with and caring for individuals from varying socio-economic classes, cultures and backgrounds. We are here to provide counseling and education to people from all walks of life in Springfield, Missouri and surrounding areas.

Four County Mental Health Center Inc. is a not-for-profit licensed Kansas community mental health center founded in 1964. Located in Coffeyville, Kan., the center serves residents across the southeast Kansas counties of Chautauqua, Elk, Montgomery and Wilson. It provides its services primarily through two services divisions, including the community-based mental health services for adults division and the community-based mental health services for children's division. The mental health care facility's clinical services include therapy, crisis intervention and medication management. Four County Mental Health Center Inc. provides a full line of services, such as mental health outpatient services, alcohol/drug abuse services and senior outreach services, to name a few.
