Moore Police Department

The Moore Police Department provides law enforcement services to residents and visitors of the city of Moore, Okla. It employs a staff of more than 60 full-time, sworn officers, volunteers and civilians. The department maintains a special operations division that is responsible for the investigation of illegal drug and narcotic activities and agency covert operations. The Moore Police Department s patrol division performs various patrol functions, such as responding to calls for service, securing crime scenes, and investigating and taking appropriate action regarding traffic and criminal activities. The division also apprehends offenders, recovers stolen property, prepares reports and presents court testimonies. The Moore Police Department also has investigations, evidence, technical support, records and public information units.
