Mercy Health Center is a licensed and accredited full-service tertiary hospital. The center was established in 1947 and located in Oklahoma City. Shawnee medical Center Clinic offers a wide variety of services, such as inpatient and outpatient care, community wellness and behavioral health programs, home health aides, cardiac rehabilitation, and respite and hospice care. Located in Oklahoma City, Ou Medical Center s Laboratory provides clinical testing and anatomic pathology services in its more than 70,000-square-foot facility. The laboratory has more than 200 technical and clerical staffs and it performs over 140,000 laboratory tests per month. It offers various testing services that include blood analysis, drug screening and monitoring, and emergency testing of cardiac, liver and renal profiles. Ou Medical Center s Laboratory also offers courier service for specimen pickup and delivery of reports and provides a variety of educational and research opportunities for medical students. The laboratory is approved by the College of American Pathologists, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, American Association of Blood Banks and the American Society of Histocompatibility and Immunology.
