Initially, I wanted to be a teacher. And then a friend of mine, who was in nursing, she said she thought I would be good at nursing, so I jumped in with both feet and never looked back. I can't imagine doing anything else. I've worked in the emergency room, as a flight nurse and in primary care. I like putting all the pieces together, like a puzzle, and make it a picture so we can figure out what we need to do and where we need to go. I've been told I'm very thorough, I'm very detail oriented. I'm going to get the whole picture and help patients make the most informed decision they can. I want people to know that I'm real, I'm honest. And that ups and downs, I've had them in my life, too. I'm here for them and I understand.

I had a preceptor during nurse practitioner school who was great with patients and inspired me to pursue family medicine. I like to learn a lot about my patients and their families to help take better care of them. I will go the extra mile for the people under my care, helping in any way that I can.

I am very passionate about being a doctor and feel that is my calling in life. I am honored to be able to provide care to the Ardmore, OK community. Practicing as both a Family Medicine provider and an Obstetrics (OB), I have a unique opportunity to help my patients through several stages of life. I not only deliver babies but also take care of them through their childhood and even into adulthood. Being a parent and mother, I can relate as I have gone through pregnancies which helps me build stronger relationships with my patients.
