McAlester Regional Health Center

McAlester Regional Health Center is a 197-bed nonprofit health care facility. The center has received recognition for meeting and exceeding strict standards of care and administration of services as determined and evaluated by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, the American College of Radiology, the College of American Pathologists and the Commission on Accreditation for Rehabilitation Facilities. Located in the center of southeastern Oklahoma, it serves Pittsburg County and surrounding areas that reach into the counties of Atoka, Coal, Haskell, Hughes, Latimer, McIntosh and Pushmataha. McAlester Regional Health Center s active staff specializes in 22 medical fields, including anesthesiology, cardiology, emergency care, orthopedics, general surgery and rehabilitation. The center also coordinates community educational programs and support groups. It employs more than 800 people and is located in Mcalester, Okla.
