After taking inspiration from his chef father growing up and working in the restaurant industry for almost twenty years himself, Matthew "Matt" Sowers, along with his wife, Kate, became restaurateurs in 2016. They opened Matt's Place in 2020 with the vision of providing their homemade meals in an environment that makes you feel at home. Matt is said to have "never met a stranger" and is known to strike up a conversation with guests. His dedication to customer service and food quality really make his place stand out!
