As a general surgeon, Dr. Pence is focused giving people hope for a healthy future. Her surgical specialties include minimally invasive surgery, vascular, and thyroid. Patients rave about her personal warmth and compassionate care.Dr. Pence received her undergraduate degree from Northeastern State University. She then earned her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.Outside of work, Dr. Pence spends time with her husband and three children. She is actively involved in the Stillwater Area United Way and in her spare time, she also enjoys playing racquetball and has a deep love of reading

Dr. Fernandos practice model is one that empowers patients with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their health. He believes in staying current with the latest medical literature and is a strong proponent of evidence-based medicine in guiding best clinical practices. Dr. Fernando is happy to be a part of SMC and recognizes the importance of womens health in shaping the overall health of Stillwater, Oklahoma.He received his clinical training in obstetrics and gynecology in New York City under the guidance of Drs. Angela Kerr and Michael Cabbad at the Brooklyn Hospital Center.Dr. Fernandos clinical interests include the management of pelvic pain, minimally-invasive and robotic surgery, and high-risk obstetrical care.
