Established in 1970, Gordon Cooper Technology Center provides career and Technical education and is located in Shawnee, Okla. The center offers more than 25 full-time programs, and serves over 800 high school students and nearly 4,500 individuals annually through short-term classes and customized training. It offers a wide range of full-time programs, such as accounting and financial services, computer-aided drafting, automotive service technology, electrical careers technology, licensed practical nursing, precision machining, professional diesel technician and masonry trades. It also offers various short-term programs that include accounting, service and hospitality, software and networking, career specialties, professional development and animal wellness. It provides various student services that include career center, educational enhancement center, adult counselor, financial aid, guidance and enrollment counseling.
