Kialegee Tribal Town

Kialegee Tribal Town, a daughter town of Tuckabatche, has a rich history dating back to their origins in Alabama and Georgia. With a matrilineal membership system, the town has around three hundred members and a government structure led by a chief executive officer known as the mekko.

Committed to economic development, Kialegee has established an Industrial Development Authority and continues to expand its infrastructure, including a Family Life Center and tribal court building in Wetumka. Through active traditional programs, the tribal town strives to preserve and promote its cultural heritage.
