The most gratifying part of working in medicine is getting to see a patient before we intervened and getting to see the outcome, whether that's their ability to breathe out of their nose, hear well again, swallow without choking or sleep better at night.

It is fulfilling to get to meet patients of all ages within a family, see them visit after visit and grow those relationships with them. Family medicine is different every single day; you never know what a day it is going to bring.
