I enjoy building strong relationships with my patients. I love learning about their families and what they enjoy doing, which really helps me treat them better. I love the wide range of things you see in family medicine. It's challenging but also rewarding to help patients in the different aspects of their health care.

Growing up in the small town of Guymon, Oklahoma, my childhood hero was my family doctor. It has since been my goal to make a unique and lasting contribution - and for me, medicine was the most obvious way to achieve that. I want all of my patients to walk away knowing that they have an ally in the battle against disease. I want them all to feel comfortable talking to me about the stresses of life and work, and know that they have a friend to lean on and a physician that wants nothing but the best for each of them.

Since I like science and enjoy helping people, I decided to pursue a career in medicine. Later, I chose to specialize in internal medicine so I could build long-term relationships and help people with a broad range of health issues. I want my patients to know I listen to them, and together we form a partnership to find the best solution. It?s the most rewarding way to practice medicine.
