The first Johnnie s Charcoal Broiler was opened in 1971 in Oklahoma City. Today, it is a chain of nearly eleven restaurants that are owned by David and Rick Haynes. It serves more than 30,000 burgers each week. The restaurant s menu includes a variety of sandwiches, salads, sides, soups, steaks and desserts. This place is overpriced. A hamburger costs $7+ and that's in Oklahoma where I am visiting for an extended time. And if you just want to burger patty because you don't eat wheat they still charge...
