I am blessed to have the opportunity to join with Mercy in ministering to patients in Edmond and its surrounding communities. My primary goal in all things is to honor Christ and to show His love to you and your family. I also strive to provide excellent medical advice with a caring and compassionate approach. Your family can trust that I will treat your physical needs as well as your emotional and spiritual needs. I enjoy practicing the full scope of family medicine, caring for the newborn to the elderly, using evidence-based practices while addressing your personal concerns and desires. I will work hand in hand with other medical professionals while I treat your everyday medical issues including unexpected illnesses, health and fitness goals, and chronic/complex medical problems. I would be honored to serve as your family physician, and I will treat you in the same manner I would want my own family to be treated.

Transitioning from a high school math teacher to medicine was inspired by my son's illness and numerous hospital visits. Interactions with Physician Assistants (PAs) sparked my interest in understanding and solving health issues. With a deep affection for children, I find caring for them and supporting parents immensely rewarding. My goal is to assist parents in navigating their child's health journey, providing answers and solutions. I cherish the privilege of contributing to the well-being of these resilient, special young individuals. I want parents to feel heard; I'm here to address all their questions patiently. Assisting in raising healthy children is an honor that I value greatly.

I believe in good medical care for everyone - those with the resources and those without the resources. I also believe physicians must keep updated with the rapid advances in medicine. That's why I mentor students and trainees at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and participate in practice-based research. Beyond the medicine and research, I enjoy medicine because I have the opportunity to form lasting relationships with my patients.
