The Herman & Kate Kaiser Library in Tulsa, OK, is a 10,000 square foot facility located in LaFortune Park. This library features a meeting room, shelving for 50,000 books, public computers, a children's area, unique art pieces, and a shared lobby with the Buddy LaFortune Community Center.
The library was completely donor funded through a Tulsa Library Trust Capital campaign, with major contributions from the Herman and Kate Kaiser Foundation and other generous donors. Herman and Kate Kaiser, who fled Nazi Germany and became productive citizens in Tulsa, serve as profound examples of giving back to the community.
