HistoryWhen I was in high school, I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. A friend of the family suggested that I try cosmetology school and I checked into it. (It appealed to me because I had always been creative.) During my senior year of high school I attended half a day of high school and half a day of beauty school. I really enjoyed it and did very well. I got my license in 1986 and I have worked for salons and also operated on my own since then. Right now I operate as an independent hair stylist in Tulsa. Over the years I have really enjoyed working with people and learning the hair industry.
