Ford Audio-Video Systems sells products from more than 300 manufacturers. The company designs, installs, services and rents professional sound, video, lighting and security systems. Its primary focus is on engineered and installed systems, which are bid as completed systems with customer training and warranty service. Jim and Claire Ford founded Ford Audio-Video Systems in Oklahoma City as Ford Audio & Acoustics in February 1973. The company opened a Dallas office in 1989; Denver office in 1992; Nashville, Tenn., office in 1996; and Las Vegas office in 1999. The same year Ford Audio-Video Systems opened its Las Vegas office, the company acquired Xeno Systems of Austin, Texas.
