The traditional role of hospitals is changing. Our role now includes advancing health in our community and helping all individuals reach their highest potential for good health. This is achieved through providing access to affordable and equitable health, behavioral and social services. The care we provide must add value to lives. We must embrace the diversity of individuals and serve as partners in their health. Hospitals now focus more on the wellbeing of our community. Finally, we have to coordinate seamless care propelled by teams, technology, innovation and data.
