Covercraft Industies

In 1965, Covercraft Industries was opened by Bob Lichtmann in Southern California s San Fernando Valley. At that time, it was a two-man operation that manufactured custom-patterned car covers for street rods, the import sports car market and aftermarket automotive parts suppliers. For more than 40 years, Covercraft has grown to a team of more than 400 employees and expanded into three manufacturing locations, with its headquarters in Pauls Valley, Okla. In four decades, the company has amassed a library of more than 55,000 cover patterns. Covercraft helped to pioneer the market for custom fit vehicle covers and has added programs for a variety of products for exterior and interior protection including seat protectors, front-end masks, tonneau covers, window heat shields and pet travel items. The company is certified to both TS16949:2002, a quality system standard throughout the world, and ISO 14001, an environmental quality program. Covercraft is family owned. The company has branch located in Wichita Falls, Texas, where it employs nearly 90 people.
