Caney Creek Recreation Area
Caney Creek Recreation Area is a picturesque campground located on the northern side of Lake Texoma in Oklahoma's Cross Timbers Region. With 41 campsites offering electrical and water hookups, as well as 10 basic sites without hookups, visitors can enjoy a range of outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, hiking, and hunting. The campground also provides amenities like flush and vault toilets, showers, drinking water, a boat ramp, dock, small playground, and a dump station.
Surrounded by post and blackjack oaks, the rolling hills of the region create a beautiful natural setting where wildlife like deer, turkeys, bobcats, hawks, waterfowl, and songbirds can be spotted.
