During his time as a resident, Dr. Rich treated various levels of athletes, including hockey players and other athletes at two Division I colleges in Louisiana.Afterward, Dr. Rich completed a sports medicine residency at the University of Oklahoma Tulsa, where he still serves as a clinical assistant instructor today.It was during his fellowship that Dr. Rich decided to focus on interventional pain management. He uses his previous sports medicine experience to help people find relief. Dr. Richs primary goal is to help each individual achieve the highest level of function possible, just as he did when treating athletes.Hes an active member of all major interventional pain societies, as well as neuromodulation societies.
