I chose to go into family medicine after the birth of my first child. The nurse that I had during that time was very professional and helped me through the delivery and postpartum period. I'm very passionate about preventive care for my patients, and I think getting to know my patients and their families can help all of us grow together.

My family is very much invested in the medical specialty, and I felt called to that. The main tenet of medicine is put the patient?s need ahead of yourself and that has always stuck with me and I pursued it. When people come to me, they?re hurting, they?re scared, they don?t know what to expect and they?ve lost a quality of life they?ve come to know. I enjoy building a relationship with my patients and formulating the trust that I can guide them to getting better.
