Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation Department is a public service division based in Oklahoma City, Okla. The department operates under several divisions, including recreation, grounds management, botanical gardens and civic center. Its recreation division provides recreation and education programs at parks, athletic fields, lakes, nature areas and community centers. Through grounds management division, the department also mows and maintains more than 6,900 land acres and plants 100 of trees every year. The civic center division manages the Stage Center, Rose State Performing Arts Center, and the Civic Center Music Hall.
