Directly after his residency training, Dr. McConn was accepted into one of the preeminent foot and ankle fellowships specializing in sports medicine and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at Weil Foot, Ankle, and Orthopedic Institute in Chicago, which he completed in 2019. He continues to be involved with the educational aspect of the practice. He is published in the Achilles tendon, ankle arthroscopy, and forefoot reconstruction.
