I love being able to take care of children as they bring so much fun and joy into the room. I also love being able to take care of their parents and grandparents. I enjoy helping the whole family. The most gratifying part of practicing medicine is hearing the impact I have had on my patient?s lives. I want my patients to know they will be treated with respect and transparency. There will be open communication between them, and the provider and I want to be someone they feel comfortable with.

Very early on in medical school I knew I wanted to work with children. I love pediatrics because kids are so resilient and can bounce back quickly to whatever is thrown their way. When it comes to the care, I provide my patients, I want parents to know that it is a partnership. We are a team - making choices together on how to best care for their children. Building relationships with families is so important to me as a physician. It is rewarding to see newborns and be by parent's side from day one, and I enjoy helping them grow into that new role.

Family medicine gives me the opportunity to provide service to large group of people; having the privilege to see people all way from the crib to adolescent years all the way through adulthood, helping them get through life challenges, health challenges is what drove me to be a family medicine physician. Overall wellness is something I focus on for my patients and incorporate lifestyle medicine into the treatment plan, encouraging metal health, physical health and fitness.
