History

The Museum ground work was started in the 1970's but the Grand opening was 1985, the building was built in 1902 and was a bank.

Specialties

Preserving the History of Erick and informing visitors about how the 100th Meridian and how it was finally decided on, along with showing the inhabitants of this area 8 to 11,000 years ago, also we have displays of cowboy trail drive with gear they used along with a display on the Indian and how they used the Buffalo for everything along with much more to see.

A great local museum. Offers a slice of life in the 1920s and 1930s. Be sure and visit the creepy old dentist's office upstairs! Free admission; donations accepted. Open Th-Fri-Sat. After new...
