The Museum ground work was started in the 1970's but the Grand opening was 1985, the building was built in 1902 and was a bank.
Preserving the History of Erick and informing visitors about how the 100th Meridian and how it was finally decided on, along with showing the inhabitants of this area 8 to 11,000 years ago, also we have displays of cowboy trail drive with gear they used along with a display on the Indian and how they used the Buffalo for everything along with much more to see.
