A Soto Zen community with the Rinzai koan introspection tradition and Tibetan Gelugpa Lam Rim and White Tara. Sutra service and meditation practice Wednesday 7:30pm and Sunday 11am. Beginners always welcome, no need to call ahead. Zen meditation for beginners class offered Sunday at 10am. The Buddhist Temple of Toledo is an independent Zen Buddhist Sangha that provides dharma training. Our Wednesday and Sunday weekly services are always open to the public and include sutras, Zen meditation, dharma talks, and interviews with transmitted teachers. Our guiding teachers are Jay Rinsen Weik Roshi, Abbott and Karen Do'on Weik, Sensei.
