The Worthington Swim Club is a competitive swim club consisting of more than 150 swimmers, most who reside in the city of Worthington, Ohio. Swimmers range in age from 5 to 18 and in ability from precompetitive swimmers to swimmers who have achieved national championship time standards. USA Swimming, an organization formed to govern amateur swimming competition, sanctions the Worthington Swim Club. The club is active during an indoor short-course season that lasts from September to March, and an outdoor long-course season that lasts from late April to August. The club trains at the Worthington Natatorium and competes in USA Swimming sanctioned meets. It is a nonprofit organization supported through charitable contributions, donated goods and services and income from club sponsored swim meets and sales. The Worthington Swim Club is headquartered in Worthington.
