The City of Wadsworth has developed a diverse park system since opening its first public park in 1900, now managing 20 properties that range from small playgrounds to expansive areas like Holmesbrook Park, which spans over 58 acres. These parks provide the community with safe, clean natural spaces for various activities, including hiking trails, sports fields, and play areas.
Supported by the Friends of Wadsworth Trails, the Parks Department focuses on enhancing the recreational landscape through trail development, management programs, and additional park amenities. As a Non-Profit 501(c)(3) organization, Friends of Wadsworth Trails is dedicated to fostering a love for the outdoors and enriching the enjoyment of these valuable public spaces.
