Westlake City Schools

Westlake City School District serves the educational needs of students in grades kindergarten through 12. The district governs several elementary, middle and high schools, including Bassett Elementary, Holly Lane Elementary, Parkside Intermediate, Lee Burneson Middle and Westlake High School. It offers educational programs in language arts, science, music, physical education, family and consumer science, business education, library media, math, social studies, visual arts, computer education, foreign language and technology education. The district has athletic teams in various games, including football, basketball, cross country, soccer, volleyball, gymnastics, lacrosse, baseball and fast pitch softball and are known as the demons. It provides opportunity to students to participate in a range of extracurricular activities, such as the National Honor Society, literary teams and clubs. Westlake City School District is located in Cleveland.
